STEP 1
Take your reading
Use your home blood pressure monitor as usual and wait for the final numbers.
BP Capture
Point your iPhone at your blood pressure monitor's display. BP Capture reads the numbers, you check them, and they're saved to Apple Health.
Requires iOS 27 and iPhone 15 Pro or later, with Apple Intelligence.
BP Capture doesn't measure blood pressure. Your monitor does that. BP Capture reads what your monitor shows, so you don't have to write it down.
STEP 1
Use your home blood pressure monitor as usual and wait for the final numbers.
STEP 2
Tap Activate Camera and fit the monitor's display inside the box on screen.
STEP 3
BP Capture reads the display more than once and only fills in systolic, diastolic and pulse when two reads agree. Check each one against your monitor.
STEP 4
Nothing is saved until you tap Log to Apple Health. You can also type the numbers yourself.
Your readings live in Apple Health, next to the rest of your health data.
See your recent readings from Apple Health. Delete any reading BP Capture saved with a swipe.
Your average systolic, diastolic and pulse for the last 7 or 30 days, with a chart of daily averages.
Create a one-page report on your iPhone and share it however you like.
Everything happens on your iPhone. BP Capture has no account, no servers and no analytics, and it never connects to the internet.
BP Capture needs iOS 27 or later on an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence: iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max or a later model. Reading the display uses Apple Intelligence, so make sure it's turned on in Settings.
BP Capture is designed for home blood pressure monitors with a digital display.
Allow BP Capture to save and read blood pressure. Allow heart rate too if you want your pulse saved.
BP Capture is not a medical device. It doesn't measure, diagnose, interpret or give advice about your readings. Always check the numbers against your monitor, and talk to your doctor before making any decisions about your health.
